Description and Notes
Nizoral cream is used for the treatment of the following fungal infections:
- Athletes Foot
- Tinea
- Ringworm and thrush infections of the skin
- Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis which is caused by a yeast Malassezia Ovalis.
Dosage and Administration
Use once daily for 2-4 weeks for most skin conditions until a few days after the disappearance of all symptoms.
The diagnosis and/or treatment should be reconsidered if no clinical improvement is noted after 4 weeks of therapy.
General measures in regard to hygiene should be observed in order to control sources of infection and re-infection.
